Every day a new #punkrock song – 01/2023

At the beginning of 2023, I realized that the world needs more #punkrock now more than ever. The past year was plagued by political discourse and the rise of right-wing opinions in society. It seems like the mainstream is getting quieter and quieter, but the subcultures are still a voice that can be heard and their messages can still be felt. If there ever was a time for a new punk movement, it’s now. In light of this, I decided to start sharing a collection of old and new punk rock songs on Mastodon every month to get more attention to the genre and its importance in standing against these trends.
